To celebrate King Fook Jewellery’s 70th anniversary in Hong Kong, the brand hosted the “King Fook Jewellery 70th Anniversary Gala Dinner” at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong on the 3rd of October. The star-studded evening was joined by social elites, King Fook’s business partners and a group of valuable customers, who gathered to share the joy and witness this significant milestone in the history of the company. King Fook Jewellery’s slogan this year “70 Years of Gold Casting – A Journey of Integrity, Sincerity and Beauty”, underlines the brand’s heritage and pedigree of offering pure gold products, servicing our customers with the utmost sincerity, as well as our promise to present enchanting jewellery creations for customers in the years to come. 

The special photo-shooting area outside the banquet halls transported guests to a vintage display of the King Fook Goldsmith store, the predecessor of King Fook Jewellery Group. One of the most photo-worthy hotspots was the rickshaw, an iconic Hong Kong symbol. In addition, there was also a giant “70 Years” neon light decoration, a décor that manifested the quintessential Hong Kong allure. By modernizing traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, the designer transported guests to old Hong Kong in the 40s and 50s. Before the banquet began, models served delicate snacks to guests with round trays that are adorned with LED lights. 

“King Fook Jewellery 70th Anniversary Gala Dinner” kicked off amidst the allure of glistening jewellery and nostalgic decoration. Mr. Richard Tang, Chairman of King Fook Holding Limited, delivered a speech at the gala dinner to show his gratitude to everyone’s support for King Fook Jewellery over the past 70 years. He promised to strive to continue to provide high quality, reliable and sincere service, adhering to the motto of the founder Mr. C. W. Young, “Integrity, Diligence and Professionalism”.

The performances of the evening were divided into three parts: “A Sincere Encounter”, “The True Love of Your Life” and A Beautiful Legend”.
 

“A Sincere Encounter”
Kicking off the first performance was Talia Cheung, an 11-year-old musical talent who won the championship in a world-class harp competition. By plucking the strings skillfully, Talia wowed the crowd with her performance of a classic Chinese song "The Moon Represents My Heart." At the same time, on the other side of the stage, the ballet dancer took the audience’s breath away with her elegant movements inside a giant crystal ball. Thanks to the enchanting soft lighting effects, it looked as if the performer was dancing to the beautiful melody on the moon.     

“The True Love of Your Life”
Famed American a cappella ensemble Metro Vocal Group took the stage and performed many popular tracks such as Pharrel Williams' "Happy" and Ben E.King's well-known tune "Stand By Me". The band also impressed the audience with their performances of "My Pride" and "The Moon Represents My Heart" in Cantonese and Mandarin, offering an unparalleled enjoyment.

“A Beautiful Legend” 
During the dinner, guests were stunned by the high-tech LED lighting effects, a special effect commonly seen in concerts only. A group of dancers donned in glistening diamond ensembles stole the spotlight with their energetic and uplifting dance moves. As they moved gracefully according to the special lighting effects, their dance moves captured the essence of the popular tune “Diamond” thoroughly, pushing the live atmosphere to the peak.

Aside from the range of show-stopping performances, King Fook had also hosted several lucky draws. Lucky winners of the night got their hands on the keepsake Fook, Luk, Sau and a pure gold medallion of the Year of the Pig.
